Due to the fact the the beam that runs from wall to wall across the ceiling is so long, i made a beam specificly to support it.

Luke - Unity Progress
Made some more progress as far as the visual indication that the player is receiving damage. The current textures are simply a place holder that will be updated over time. The following video demonstrates the effect.
As you can also see in the video, the games GUI has been put into place, not all of it has been implemented in this video but it will son be completed.
